Founded in 1994, Berghahn Books is an independent scholarly press publishing books and journals for libraries, researchers, practitioners, and students in the social sciences and humanities. The Berghahn publishing programs are widely recognized for the quality both of their lists and of the production of their books and journals. The press has a strong transatlantic position and close links to continental Europe.
