International Society of Automtion (ISA)

Founded in 1945 and based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ISA develops standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; and hosts conferences and exhibitions for the automation professionals.

People’s Medical Publishing House – USA

PMPH-USA is the U.S. publishing operation for the People’s Medical Publishing House, the largest medical publisher in China. Launched in January, 2008, PMPH-USA publishes clinical references, textbooks, and online material for physicians, dentists, medical students, and health science practitioners. In July of 2008, the company acquired BC Decker’s medical book list, consisting of world-class authors and titles in areas such as oncology, surgery, neurology, pediatrics, oral surgery, and dentistry.

Berghahn Books

Founded in 1994, Berghahn Books is an independent scholarly press publishing books and journals for libraries, researchers, practitioners, and students in the social sciences and humanities. The Berghahn publishing programs are widely recognized for the quality both of their lists and of the production of their books and journals. The press has a strong transatlantic position and close links to continental Europe.

Momentum Press

Momentum Press was founded in 2007 with core areas in engineering, applied science and technology. Its aim is to reach practitioners, researchers, educational faculty, and students in engineering, science, and industry with both traditional print media and electronically delivered content. Momentum Press publishes original scientific and engineering content, with a focus on the North-American, English language market, but with distribution and market presence worldwide.

The Journal the Burma Research Society (JBRS)

The Journal of the Burma Research Society (JBRS) was the first academic journal devoted to Burma Studies. The journal started in 1911 about the same time as The Journal of the Siam Society. It was published in Burma but is no longer published today.

JBRS had 59 volumes spanning a period of 70 years, with a total of 377 authors writing about 631 subjects. It comprises more than 132 issues with over 1,300 articles (more than 30,000 pages in total), and includes some 500 photos, graphs, charts and maps. Like the Journal of the Siam Society, JBRS was, and still is, the premier research journal on Burma.

Business Expert Press (BEP)

Business Expert Press (BEP) was founded on the proposition that executives and business students need reliable, concise information and guidance from experts across the field of business. Professors from around the world typically focus on writing journal articles, lengthy monographs, textbooks, or topical articles for magazines such as the Harvard Business Review. In most cases, some combinations of these published works have supported their teaching and consulting.

ISEAS Publishing

ISEAS Publishing, an established academic press, has issued more than 2000 books and journals. It is the largest scholarly publisher of research about Southeast Asia from within the region.
